My Blog

International Urban Artist Kevin Bickle has developed a wide ranging number of pieces. His influences include, ideas that are divinely inspired, Contemporary and Modern art, Old World religious, the tattoo world, reggae music, with an especially caribbean flair, and the extreme sports world.

He currently works in acrylic on canvas, cardboard, and, acrylic on wood, as well as other mixing of medium and finishes each piece with an industrial motif by mounting the finished painting with chrome bolts, piercing the painting into wood. Kevin is a dedicated husband to his wife Jillian of 11 years and father to one son, Brayden, 6-years-old.

The piece below is called: Revelation 3:20. This is a 3D piece using laytex and acrylic on a solid walnut old Victorian door I was given. This piece was sold to owner: John Goslee of Westerville, Ohio.

As you can see below, this piece is actually free standing and has artwork on both sides...

Along with Kevin's artwork, other talents he has been given are doing public bike shows performing flatland tricks, as well as preaching and being an accomplished public speaker. In July, 2005 he joined a short term missions team with Vineyard Church of Columbus to Benin, Africa. We are currently in the process of getting more aid for this country. His art is influenced greatly by all of the areas of different realms and experiences of his life.
