In this piece I wanted to portray the Koi as dancing in the water. Flipping and splashing their fins in their hunger and excitement.

Below: SOLD "And She Wept" Acrylic, Latex, and Spraypaint on panel, 22.5"X61.5" Prints availabe.

In this painting I wanted to strike emotion and power! Showing how she came before Jesus to offer her love, and fell before Him only to weep, kiss his feet, wipe them with her hair and tears, and pour perfume on them. I believe she was weeping over what was to come and anointing His body with perfume before His death on the cross. I love how He just let her come right up to Him, and to touch Him. She was just a sinner but through her love of Him, and by grace, she was forgiven.

Below: "Once Were Warriors" Acrylic, Latex, Oil on Panel 72"X 48" Original Painting and Prints available.
The name of this painting was taken from a movie made about the Maori people of New Zealand. I was very influenced by the tribal traditions the native people had and still have there, but I was also saddened by the loss of their traditions due to time, war, and change. In this painting I wanted to pay respect to all of the races of people that were once warriors. I used a chariot as my base and layered the image with colors. All through out history we have been replaying this role over and over and continue to do so, and I bleieve that we all have a bit of warrior in us that is under the surface, that can and does sometimes emerge.

Below: "The Rut" Acrylic, Latex, and Oil Stick on panel. 50"X24" Original Painting and Prints available. As I am from Ohio, through my life and working outside, I am placed in front of a lot of deer hunters, and hear all about deer on a daily basis. Especially in the fall. In this painting I am showing the Hunt taking place on every level from the man hunting the animal, to the animal hunting the man, and even the man on a hunt for his woman. The hunt is always going on in every day life, wether out in the woods, or downtown on the city streets. This is my tribute to all hunters.
